Here’s her video interview, she elaborates more on her answers
I love the idea of interviewing and making a video of your child on their birthday every year. It will be so much fun to go back and watch them all later. Happy Birthday to Stella!
OMG Heather, this is such a good idea. I wish I had done this with my kids, but they are already going to be 11 & 14 this year, so I think I missed the boat on this one.
So fun! She’d have a lot in common with my daughter, who also loves Stranger Things, Disney, and musical.ly! Happy Birthday to your daughter! Mine just turned 11.
My girls are super into the musical.ly app also (I think that’s how it is spelled). Seems harmless and they get real creative with it!

Happy birthday to Stella! I love these interviews, and I need to do them more regularly with my kids.
It’s so hard to see the changes every day, so I love the idea of a yearly interview to see whatever is on their mind at that stage in life. LOVE THIS!!
The interview is such a great idea. I love that with $1000 she would buy 1000 puppies. That is so funny.
I love that she loves the stranger things theme song. I also really love the birthday interview idea!

Awesome idea! I don’t want to be a copy cat but I want to do this in the future for my kid (if I’ll have one). Is that okay? Hahaha
This is just too much fun. I wish I had thought of this when my kids were still young and living at home. I’ve become obsessed with The Stranger Things lol.
What a fantastic idea. I wish I would have done something like this. What fun it would be to look back on!
aw happy birthday to Stella! This is such a fun idea. My friend’s daughter has a birthday coming up I am gonna pass this along to her.
I need to do an interview for my son’s special day. What a great way to remember this age!
That’s pretty good that she read a Wrinkle in Time and really enjoyed it – I think it might be hard for some kids her age. What a cute interview, it would be fun to save an interview every year 🙂
How fun is this tradition! I’m sure they’d love to read their answers when they’re adults as well. It’s a great way to look back on memories.
I think this is such an amazing idea and a great way for kids to see their growth every year! Something I will have to do with my nieces!
What a great way to remember all of the birthdays and to see their progress in their thinking and maturity. This is something that I may have to borrow from you:)
I try to do this at the start of each school year. Some years I totally forget. It’s so fun to look back.
Lol, please mom, stop making her clean her room, she hates it haha. This idea is so brilliant, I would like to do this with my daughters too.
This is such a great idea. We have the same favorite color. I like that she will buy lots of puppies and donate and that she wants to be an imagineer. I don’t know if I ever answer with dragons or mythological creatures when I was asked my favorite animal. I think it’s such a great answer.
My kids are way older so I guess I will have to reserve this idea with the future grandchildren. I can just imagine how fun it would be to compare how their interests change through the years.
It’s so nice that you’re interviewing the kids every year. I think it’s a great way to see how much they’ve grown and changed plus something to look back on too. She’s so adorable! I hope you guys had a lovely celebration!
